Moccasin Flats | Woods + Dangaran
Set against the rugged red rock landscape of Southern Utah, Moccasin Flats by Woods + Dangaran is an exploration of materiality, permanence and the relationship between architecture and its surroundings.
Monolithic forms and enduring materials ground the architecture in its landscape, creating a sense of continuity between the built environment and the natural terrain. The result is a home that feels intrinsically connected to its setting, where texture, tone and material carry through every detail.
Our Slab Pull 200 features at the entry, sandcast in solid silicon bronze. Its substantial form and tactile surface bring a quiet weight to the threshold, complementing the strength and simplicity of the architecture without competing with it.
Made to age naturally, the bronze will continue to evolve through exposure, touch and use, developing a patina unique to its environment. Like the surrounding landscape, its character is shaped by time, a material that becomes more individual with age.
Designed and made on Waiheke Island, New Zealand, our hardware celebrates the inherent qualities of solid bronze, allowing the material itself to lead.

Our Slab Handle is a pure expression of our sand cast bronze, making a substantial feature on any door. Available in various sizes and designed as a statement piece. Our Slab handles require a minimum backset of 30mm. Custom engraving is possible, please contact us to discuss.

A ‘Living’ Finish: We celebrate the authentic patina of solid bronze. To enhance the natural ageing process, we apply a light patina that will respond to its environment and age over time. We don’t apply artificial 'finishes.’ Instead we embrace the natural, rumbled state of silicon bronze.
Unique Variations: Our products are cast in bronze. Each item will have its own character telling the story of its alchemy. From molten metal to machining and hand finishing, rather than concealing the cast texture, we embrace it.
Our products are crafted from silicon bronze, a material celebrated for its strength, resilience, and timeless appeal. As a noble metal, silicon bronze offers remarkable durability; however, when paired with dissimilar metals like aluminum, it can occasionally result in galvanic corrosion if not installed properly.
To ensure the longevity of your hardware and prevent potential corrosion, we recommend the following tips:Use separation tools: Install nylon or rubber washers between different metals to minimise direct contact.
Apply protective coatings: Use lanolin-based grease or similar products on all contact surfaces.
Regular maintenance: Especially in coastal or high-humidity environments, periodic checks and care will help preserve your hardware's performance and beauty.
